Maloney Announces Cancellation of Birdsboro Firearms Safety and Rights Seminar

HARRISBURG – Rep. David Maloney (R-Berks) today announced that the Firearms Safety and Rights Seminar scheduled for March 26 at the Stonersville Fire Co., 5580 Boyertown Pike, has been cancelled by the venue in an effort to abide by the Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines on how to limit spread of coronavirus by limiting in-person interactions through social distancing.

Schools in 130th District Awarded $650,000 in Safety Grants, Maloney Says

HARRISBURG – Rep. David Maloney (R-Berks) today announced that the five school districts he represents have been awarded a total of $650,000 by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. The grants, made possible by the Republican-sponsored Act 44 of 2018, are for purchasing equipment and developing initiatives to improve school security and reduce violence.

Maloney Legislation Commemorates Boyertown American Legion’s 100th Anniversary

David Maloney (R-Berks) today ushered through the passage of House Resolution 614, legislation commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Boyertown American Legion Post 471, and recognizing and honoring the legacies of Pvt. Charles B. Yerger, Gen. Carl Spaatz and the American Legion as staunch advocates for veterans and their families.
