Speaking at a March 12 Capitol press conference unveiling House Bill 76, the Property Tax Elimination Act, Rep. Maloney told the media members present that funding education on the backs of homeowners is wrong and that HB 76, of which he is an original co-sponsor, creates a fairer way of funding schools.
State game officials in January discovered this black bear cub after she was abandoned by her mother and placed her in another female bear's den. Rep. Maloney, along with other members of the House Game and Fisheries Committee, recently checked on her during a March trip to Sproul State Forest. As you can see, she is doing well with two new male siblings.
